Japan-France Friendship Promotion Project “Eternal Bonds Exhibition”
Winner of the “Eternal Bonds Art Award”

Upon receiving the invitation to exhibit at the Japan-France Friendship Promotion Project, Eternal Bonds Exhibition, I spent time reflecting on what “eternal bonds” mean to me. During that period, I had the opportunity to perform a dance by Isadora Duncan, who was active in France as well.

Isadora Duncan was a renowned 20th-century American dancer and is recognized as a pioneer of modern dance. I have obtained the I.D.M.A (Isadora Duncan Movement Analyst) certification from the Isadora Duncan International Institute, Inc. in New York and have had the honor of performing her choreographed works.

As I danced to her piece “Lovers”, I experienced the profound connection of holding hands, sensing each other, and moving together in harmony. This beautiful and heartfelt world perfectly embodied the theme of “eternal bonds.” Inspired by those emotions and the imagery that surfaced during my performance, I created this artwork.
